Duve’s Message for the Year of 2025
I remember sitting in my car a few years ago when a song by the UK artist, Seal started playing on the radio. What stood out was the chorus, “but we're never gonna survive, unless we get a little crazy.” It was a spot on lyric that summarized what I had been telling people for over a decade, and what the entirety of my life experiences were revealing about a phenomenon that naturally happens if humanity is to return to a state of balance, peace and harmony.
A few months later I was writing a final paper for a course I was taking as part of a PhD program in Transpersonal Psychology. The paper itself titled “A Framework for the Collective Evolution of Consciousness” represented a beautiful moment in my life. It reflected a culmination of the incredibly bizarre, painful, but wonderous journey through my own spiritual awakening that began when I was a teenager. Moreso, it provided the type of confirmation I needed at the time to affirm that I, in fact, was not that crazy. That all the visions, energetic downloads, precognitions, channelings, synchronicities, and spontaneous states of trance I had been experiencing were guiding me through an understanding of the nature of consciousness, the mechanisms that guide transformation on our planet, and the role that an embodied and expanded state of consciousness has in reminding us of our interconnectedness to all things, including in relation to each other and the cosmos. This is something that a lot of people are only now beginning to realize, and more importantly, talk about.
The basic premise is that there is a natural force in every system that steps in when that system steps out of balance. This force is here to restore equilibrium, homeostasis, balance and harmony to the system. Our planet is the system, to which humans are just one part. Our nervous systems and the energetic fields we embody are deeply integrated within this system. Consciousness and our experience of reality is expressed throughout this system.
There is a shared reality between what we experience as humans and the state of our planet. Both affect and influence one another. And just as many of us are deepening our understanding of our interconnectedness with our planet, we are finding that Earth itself is interconnected to a larger cosmic system with its own cycles and storylines. And this part of the cycle is beckoning for harmony.
Just as our bodies experience a fever when we find ourselves sick, so does our planet. And this is where Seal’s song comes into the mix. For generations we have suppressed the collective pains we have carried as a species. The time has come in our story where we are being forced to confront our collective shadow, our intergenerational trauma, and all of the pain our ancestors have buried for centuries and centuries. We cannot hide anymore from ourselves. Every region in the world has been called to confront personal, ancestral, cultural, religious, institutional, and other forms social traumas and conflicts it has inherited. This may not have started as ours, but we have an opportunity to witness ourselves, our past, our wounds, our dark parts and our strengths and beauty and goodness in earnest.
The message from the planet is that there is no way around this. We need to walk through it. It is through confronting and taking responsibility on behalf of our wounds and the narratives, beliefs, and maladaptive behaviours we have developed in order to carry on and survive for so long, where we can begin to truly start to see and feel clearly. It is through this deep healing process that the entire world has embarked on where we can finally find release from the old stories of conflict and deep duality that we have been playing out for so long.
Our gift by going through this? We get to claim the wisdom embedded within the experience of the pains of our past. By truly giving our wounds a voice, not from a place of victimhood and martyrdom, but with the intention of honouring them, so that we can move forward, the future generations may be finally able to experience a reality our ancestors could only have dreamed of.
To make way for this, we gonna get a little crazy. But this crazy is a good crazy, because in witnessing and honouring our collective shadow we will do much more than just survive. We will thrive and fully be alive in peace and harmony with our brothers and sisters on this planet. We are discovering a new way of experiencing one another, a more embodied state where we can honour ourselves and one another in a way that recognizes, accepts and even embraces our differences. I see a world where we are able to recognize the beautifully unique expression of divinity that we are, each of us Kings and Queens with golden hearts and feathered crowns.
In chaos there is an unfolding beauty. For many on the spiritual awakening journey, at least those who are riding a similar part of the wave that I have been, this past year has been a transition year. 2024 was a year filled with some major changes and challenges that were intended to push us beyond the cocoon phase of this journey. We are learning to fly within a new awareness of who we are not just as individuals, but also within the wider community that we are being called to build.
The intense healing that many of us have experienced these past years was largely about clearing old attachments. In doing so we have made space for a more balanced way of flowing with the energy of our planet. We have healed our rotted roots and have started to anchor into a new rooting system, one where we are all flowing within the natural rhythm of the planet. Just like trees in a forest, our roots are all connected through a wider rooting system, a network that spans the globe. The forest knows how to regulate itself, with each tree receiving the right amount of nutrients it needs in order to produce the special fruit it is called to provide. Homeostasis is maintained and regulated so that no one tree takes all the nutrients at the expense of the others. Even in the face of fires and disasters, the rooting system knows how to sustain itself. This is the world we are entering.
This year is about community. For those of us who have been on the personal awakening journey for a while, we are ready to build a new type of community. We have been given the coding for a new type of economy. A more honourable way of respecting the natural flow of energy. A new way of being and living with the other. Healed, heart-centred, and whole. Clearer in our bioenergetic fields, and able to more readily honour our own boundaries while honouring those of others. In many ways our strict boundaries will no longer be needed with one another, as we will naturally feel and flow in tandem with, rather than entangled by, one another.
If my suspicions are true (and they may not be) the call to show to the world what this looks like, what honouring self and others in alignment with the natural divine flow in the real world, will be the next step in ushering in a better world. For the awakening community, this will likely look like service, but one that comes from a balanced place, faith in the divine and trust in the synchronicities to guide us. Gone are the days where we prey on each other. I am sick and tired of watching members of the spiritual community prey on the vulnerable. Our survival and financial fears, that ends now. It may have served a purpose in the past for those generations of awakening souls that had to survive in a world of duality and extortion. But as we come together to build a new community, we are called to more.
Others may struggle with this. But we have done the work. It is time to rise beyond the old survival traumas. I have watched the divine prepare each soul with the skills and tools to provide their special fruit for this wonderous forest. Let’s come together with curiosity, openness, humility, and a sense of ingenuity, and explore how we might create this new reality. We are always being guided and supported, so let’s come together, each of us with our part of the puzzle, and see what the bigger picture might really look like. The roots of the forest are stronger together. Together we cradle the earth, and nothing can shake that when our foundations are clear.
More than anything, whatever drives us, many of us may need to remember what it feels like BEING IN JOY. So many of us have become so burnt out by this process. How do we rejuvenate after enduring so much? How will we walk the coming years, as the rest of the world rises to their truths? Let’s be kind to one another. Let’s be kind to ourselves as we continue to surrender and embrace the flow of things. Lets honour where we have been, where the other has been, and sit in the stillness of one another in connection with our hearts and with the divine.
The old rooting system, the shark-eat-shark system that has largely led to imbalance, can no longer sustain itself. Naturally, it is going to collapse. The old must die to make way for the new. And this new is going to be beautiful. But again, things are gonna get a little crazy for the circumstances to be created that will bring about the transformation this world is longing for.
Finally, this coming year will likely see the peak of our solar cycle. This may not mean much to those who are unaware of its influence on them, or on the nervous systems of every living thing on this planet. But for those of us who are especially sensitive to energetic shifts in space weather, astrological transits, and especially geomagnetic frequencies, this year is one we have been anticipating for a while. Some in fear of the events that may unfold, others in celebration for whatever shifts may come. I sit in curiosity and gratitude.
This year spirit guided me to understand the deep symbolism inherent in the Indigenous Sundance Ceremonies, its vast similarity to Christian crucifixion, and to honour that I, as many others, are living archetypal examples of the Christian Martyr, and the Indigenous Sundancer. Those of us with nervous systems sensitive enough, have listened to the sun’s song, and have been forced to dance to its purging tune, like filters and immune cells for this system, we have endured so much pain, released so many outdated belief systems, and been a voice for a more loving and unified state of consciousness. We have done well in preparing the old world for the new. Moreso, spirit made sure the message was clear with a reminder that it is time to get off the cross.
What gifts might the end of this cycle bring? Will anyone notice? Will everyone notice? What will come after? Will things settle and a period of respite on the healing journey enter as solar activity winds down? Or will this be a major catalyst of awakening for the masses?
Despite all the theories and downloads many of us intuitives have received over the years, (including my own which I will not share), time and again we have seen that as fast as the collective expansion of consciousness has been these past years, it is still somewhat gradual and calculated. Perhaps those of us who have had to ride the tumultuous waves of these cosmic cycles, finally guided to the center of our labyrinth will find a phase of restful preparation for the next solar cycle, where a new wave of metamorphosing human beings will be called home. And perhaps, this time they will be welcomed by a thriving community in this real shared reality we call planet Earth, to come home to. Meh…probably just more chaos with a dab of crazy. Regardless…
